Dr. James W. Boyd
Founder: 1947 - 2007

Dr. Boyd, was the founder of Interstate Equities Corporation and holds a Bachelors degree in Finance from San Diego State University and a Masters and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He specialized in Urban and Regional Economics and taught courses in economics and statistics at the University of California and operations research at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Boyd was an expert witness regarding real estate transactions. He has published articles in scholarly economic journals such as Economic Inquiry and industry publications such as The Colorado Real Estate Journal. Community service activities include fund raising to build the local high school sports center, which included an all-weather track and gym facility. Dr. Boyd passed away in March of 2007 after a prolonged battle with Cancer.
