Mr. Boyd co-heads IEC, a west coast focused, fully integrated, direct owner operator of multifamily assets. As President, Mr. Boyd is responsible for strategic direction of the firm as well as leading the institutional investment portfolio including origination of new transactions and asset management. Mr. Boyd has been involved in the firm’s past four funds and led the disposition of its institutional portfolio in 2007.

Prior to joining IEC, Mr. Boyd worked on the investment team at TA Associates, a private equity fund with $13 billion under management. Prior to this he worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston & Pacific Growth Equities. Marshall holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Middlebury College. Mr. Boyd is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
